Pastoral Care & Safety

Your Child’s Wellbeing Is Our Top Priority

At Cambridge Summer Programmes, we know that sending your child away from home is a big decision. That’s why we put student safety, happiness, and support at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated pastoral team ensures every student feels valued, cared for, and empowered to make the most of their Cambridge adventure.

24/7 Supervision & Support

From the moment students arrive, they are welcomed and supported by experienced Programme Directors, residential staff, and mentors. Our team is present around the clock - providing guidance, encouragement, and a reassuring presence throughout the entire stay.

  • Residential staff live on-site and are always available for help, advice, or simply a friendly chat.

  • Attendance is checked regularly, with curfews and sign-ins to ensure everyone’s safety.

  • Students are only permitted off campus during supervised excursions or with explicit parental permission.

Secure Accommodation

Our older students (16-19) stay in secure, comfortable Cambridge college dormitories, with room assignments based on age and gender. Staff are always nearby, and accommodation is within walking distance of classrooms, dining halls, and key city landmarks.

  • Single and shared rooms with essential furnishings

  • Separate accommodation by age/gender

  • Secure access and regular checks

For our younger students (ages 12–15), we offer the best of both worlds. They stay in the safe, structured environment of one of our own ILG boarding schools, experiencing life in a traditional UK school community. By day, they join the full Cambridge programme — studying in historic university classrooms, exploring colleges, and taking part in excursions — ensuring they enjoy both a true British school experience and the inspiration of Cambridge.
